Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the original wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pony’s up money equal to your original bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
